RAREWRLD was built for the people who never quite fit the mold. The ones who always questioned what they were given, rejected what they were told to become, and chose to create something of their own. We believe identity isn’t something you’re handed.

It’s something YOU build.

WHY WE EXIST

RAREWRLD began with a simple realization:

Maybe not belonging was never the problem.

Maybe some of us were never meant to disappear into the crowd. We exist for the moments when you outgrow an old version of yourself. The moments when everything familiar starts feeling foreign, when you start to question who you were, who you’ve been told to be, and who you’re becoming.

RAREWRLD lives in that space.

Somewhere between art and utility. Identity and expression. Destruction and creation.

Every piece is an artifact of that process.

Not a uniform.

Not a costume.

A reflection of becoming.

THE REASON

RAREWRLD is deeply personal to me.

I live with schizophrenia, and for most of my life, I’ve carried the feeling that I was somehow standing outside of every room I entered.

Feeling like I never really belonged anywhere.

I was cool, but I wasn’t one of the "cool kids”.

I learned to skate but I wasn’t part of the skate crowd. I watched countless hours of anime, and read thousand page fantasy books but I wasn’t really one of the nerds either. No matter where I looked, there always seemed to be a space for everyone except me.

For a long time, I thought that meant something was wrong with me.

I spent years trying to understand where I was supposed to fit, what version of myself would finally be accepted, and what I needed to change to become someone people could understand.

Eventually, I stopped trying.

Not because I stopped caring about who I was, but because I realized I didn’t need to become someone who belonged.

I could become someone who didn’t need to.

That’s where RAREWRLD came from.

The clothing, the artwork, the world, the philosophy, even the words “You were never meant to belong, only to become” all come from that realization.

RAREWRLD is my way of taking everything that made me feel separate and turning it into something I could create.

Instead of asking: “Where do I fit?”

I started asking: “Who am I becoming?”

And that question changed everything.

RAREWRLD isn’t about being different for the sake of being different. It’s about accepting that you may never fit perfectly into someone else’s definition of who you’re supposed to be. You’re not supposed to.

Maybe the parts of you that never seemed to belong anywhere were never meant to disappear.

Maybe they were meant to become something.

That is what RAREWRLD means to me.

Not finding somewhere to belong.

Becoming somewhere of your own.

THE PHILOSOPHY

The world is constantly asking us to choose a category, adopt an identity, follow a trend, and stay there.

RAREWRLD rejects that idea.

You are allowed to change. You are allowed to be a different person today than you were yesterday.

You’re allowed to contradict yourself. You’re allowed to outgrow your past. You’re allowed to become someone your younger self couldn’t have imagined.

That’s what RAREWRLD represents.

Not belonging to a category.

Becoming beyond one.

WHY LIMITED-DROPS?

Every release exists within its own moment.

Collections are limited by design. Once a chapter closes, it becomes part of the archive.

We don’t believe in endlessly reproducing the same idea.

Because becoming doesn’t work that way either.

You don’t become the same person twice.

Each collection captures a particular point in the evolution of RAREWRLD. A thought. A feeling. A season. A version of the world as we saw it at that time.

Once it’s gone, we move forward.

No endless restocks. No chasing the algorithm. No creating simply to create.

Just finite work documenting an ongoing evolution.

MADE WITH INTENTION

Nothing begins as a finished garment.

It starts as an idea.

Sometimes that idea changes. Sometimes it gets destroyed and rebuilt. Sometimes it never leaves the sketchbook.

That’s part of the process.

Pieces are created slowly because we believe the process deserves to exist alongside the finished piece.

Design, materials, printing, embroidery, construction, photography, and presentation are all pieces of the same language.

We aren’t trying to make the most.

We’re trying to make what matters.

RAREWRLD is a living archive of becoming.

Every collection leaves behind another fragment.

Some pieces represent where we were. Some represent what we believed. Some represent what we were trying to understand. Others simply mark the moment we decided to move differently.

Together, they create a record of evolution.

The archive isn’t meant to tell one finished story.

It’s meant to show the story changing.

Because RAREWRLD isn’t a destination.

It’s an ongoing process.
